The driving force behind the design label SIN is the passionate and determined young designer, Sandhya Lalloo. Her love of fashion began early, through her days styling her maltese poodle and collating her 'genius files', a source book of magazine clippings that she continues to reference today. Sandhya's creativity lies in her ability to weave her own passions into her work, drawing on her Indo-African heritage to inspire her designs.
Sandhya, a gifted contemporary Kathak dancer, believes in the individual expressing themselves spiritually and emotionally and allowing their personalities to shine through, a quality that she lives by and expresses in her dance and her designs. She continues to instill these values in the minds of the young fashion designers that she lectures to during her spare time.
She has mastered the ability to blend colours and fabrics in a glorious symphony that transcends all boundaries of conventional styling. Her design knowledge complemented by her keen sense of aesthetics and flamboyance continue to inspire the evolution of the SIN brand.
